Founded in 1980, WAFCA has been the voice of child and family services in Wisconsin for 40 years.

WAFCA member agencies are private for profit and nonprofit human services agencies providing support and services to individuals under contract with public sector partners.

Representing over 50 child and family serving agencies and leaders in the field,  WAFCA provides a unified voice, advocating  for our members and the more than 200,000 individuals and families that they serve each year.

By partnering with our members, consumers and officials in state and local government , WAFCA fosters the continuous development of effective, responsive services. Supporting families through a wide array of services, including foster care, counseling, home visiting, and crisis intervention, WAFCA members respond to the unique needs of each community they serve.
